Easy Green Smoothie Recipe
If you’re anything like me, when it’s already 100 degrees outside when you wake up, the idea of a big breakfast to start the day just isn’t that appealing. That’s why I’ve been loving this easy green smoothie recipe in the morning. It’s cool and refreshing, sneaks in a serving of veggies, and has an extra protein punch to keep me full until lunch. Ingredients:
4-5 ice cubes
banana
1 cup spinach
1-2 scoops of protein powder (I like a vanilla protein powder but I bet chocolate would be amazing here too)
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 cup oat milk (or any milk/milk substitute of your choosing)
Instructions:
Here’s the best part - throw all of those ingredients into a blender and blend. Voila! Breakfast is ready in minutes.
This makes two servings, so you can share the (green) love.
